My work is at a minimum of $40 Per Hour with a minimum down payment of $200 to initiate a web project, and a minimum of $800 for a full web project – with additional hours billed over the initial 20 hours of work. I now use Wordpress exclusively for my web projects. Graphic Design for Flyers and Business Cards are at the hourly rate of $40, and can take several hours – expect 3-5 hours of work. Most of my work is done with Photoshop & CSS. If you are looking to build your website from the ground up and need to begin with purchasing a domain – I suggest using icdsoft.com, hostmonster.com or bluehost.com – In my humble opinion, I highly suggest staying away from GoDaddy! I do not work with Flash. ♥
Why Wordpress »
Wordpress is a fantastic tool for you – the client – because it allows you a level of freedom of owning your website once the site is completed. It allows you to login and edit / tweak the content to your heart’s content with a user interface that is almost as easy to understand as your basic email system. The wordpress back end is super simple and intuitive, and allows me – the web designer – to rapidly and efficiently create a cutting edge design that I can hand over to you and give you the tools necessary to fully own your site without having to come back to pay me for additional work to edit and update your site. It also allows you to have an integrated blog on your site, as well as other options such as an E-Commerce store and Photo Galleries. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
